Older students really respond to this book because it is about 'real' situations and is written by an 'expert.'
The uses are endless. Obviously, it's particularly good for teaching conditional thinking. You can use it to help students map alternatives; you can use it to explore vocabulary. I've even used it to teach punctuation!
If you go to Amazon you can have a peek inside and let your mind run riot about how you might use the book with your older students.
