The Language Dispatch, Issue #023-- Linguistic Speech Techniques
September 24, 2014

Hello, and welcome to this issue of the Language Dispatch.

I'm pleased to share with you the recent creation of webpages that feature discussions of linguistic methods of speech therapy, including minimal pairs therapy and multiple oppositions therapy. Multiple oppositions therapy in particular is regarded as being best practice when treating children with severe phonological disorder or childhood apraxia of speech.

The multiple oppositions webpage features a handy downloadable guide that provides a practical introduction to multiple oppositions speech therapy.

Please click on the links to learn more about minimal pairs theory and multiple oppositions therapy.
